Supporting Adult Survivors on Their Healing Journey

At the Children’s Center for Hope & Healing (CCHH), we recognize that the impact of childhood sexual abuse can extend into adulthood, affecting various aspects of an individual’s life. Our Adult Services program is dedicated to assisting women and men in transitioning from victims to survivors to thrivers.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Comprehensive Therapeutic Support

Our Adult Services program offers a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each survivor:

Individual Therapy: One-on-one counseling sessions with licensed therapists to address personal challenges and promote healing.

Group Therapy: Supportive group sessions that provide a safe space for survivors to share experiences, reduce feelings of isolation, and build a community of support.

Enhancing Family Dynamics

Often, adult survivors are parents of children participating in our Victim Services program. By supporting adult survivors, we not only aid their personal healing but also empower them to support their children’s recovery, fostering healthier family relationships and reducing the risk of future abuse.
